A free initiative for struggling mortgage holders was launched yesterday
The Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation announced it is to provide a new mortgage negotiation service for customers of AIB, EBS and Haven who are having difficulty meeting loan repayments
The scheme will offer an independent third party facilitator to advise and engage with the financial institution on their behalf

Cabin crew at Aer Lingus voted in favour of industrial action by a margin of 91% in a ballot which concluded yesterday
We heard CEO of Aer Lingus Christoph Mueller comments on the dispute – he said it is now in the hands of the Labour Relations Commission and that it’s too early at this stage to predict industrial action

53 Gardai have retired in the county since the 1st of March 2010, 3 officers will get transered into Clare this week however one member of the force has been transferred elsewhere
Clare’s Chief Superintendent John Kerin says that 2 Gardai have indicated that they are retiring in December and he worries that up to 15 more retirements may take place next year – he spoke with Clare FM’s Amy Ryan.

Declan runs Andec – a business and training consultancy in Dublin – he’s worked with Clare’s Tony Griffin and  Anthony Daly who launched this book in Dublin recently
Marian spoke with Declan about the message of the book.
