Morning Focus heard further reactions to new BOI rules on cash withdrawals and lodgements. Gavin spoke to Martin McMahon Chairperson Clare ICMSA and to Kay Murphy Midwest Region Active Retirement, Shannon.
With plans for an overhaul of religious education in primary schools and the introduction of a new subject, Education about Religion, Beliefs and Ethics (ERBE), Gavin discussed the issue with Katherine Donnelly Education Correspondent at Independent Newspapers and Professor Eamonn Conway, Head of Theology and Religious Studies at Mary Immaculate, Limerick.
The Loop Head Peninsula was named winner of the'Culture and Heritage' category of one of the world’s foremost tourism and travel award schemes. The Loop Head Heritage Trail received its award at the 12th annual World Responsible Tourism Awards ceremony hosted by World Travel Market, at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre. The 60km Loop Head Heritage Trail takes in 14 local attractions including Loop Head Lighthouse, the West Clare Railway, the Church of the Little Ark, Kilkee Victorian Town, and the Bridges of Ross. Gavin was joined on the line from London by Cillian Murphy, Chair of Loop Head Tourism.
Hypnotist Keith Barry joined Gavin in studio and on hand to assist were Clare FM’s Edel Bane and Stephen McDermott. 
Ennis film-maker, tipped for Oscar nomination, Mark O'Halloran joined Gavin to discuss his film 'Viva’. The movie was put forward by the Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) in the category of Best Foreign Film. 
John and Brigid Rynne joined Gavin in studio fresh from their journey from Inagh to China by motorbike.
Ahead of a special 50th Anniversary Concert at glory, Ennis, Phil Coulter joined Gavin to discuss five decades in music.
With the Dainty Daisies Rape Crisis Midwest fundraiser on the horizon, Gavin was joined in studio by Anne Ginnane Counsellor and Manager of Rape Crisis Midwest and by compere for the event, Tony Cogan from Miltown Malbay.
