A man in his 50’s is recovering this morning after his car went out of control and crashed into the River Fergus yesterday morning.
A man in his 50’s is recovering this morning after his car went out of control and crashed into the River Fergus yesterday morning.

The incident happened in Aughanteeroe Estate on the Gort Road shortly after 8 am when the man’s car went out of control and crashed through a fence into the river.
The man managed to escape from the car and was assisted by locals until the arrival of emergency services.
