Amnesty International says it’s gathered its most concrete evidence yet of rendition flights through Shannon.

A new report from the human rights organisation cites at least four cases where the airport was used as a getaway route for CIA agents transporting Guantanamo detainees.

Amnesty International says it’s gathered its most concrete evidence yet of rendition flights through Shannon.

A new report from the human rights organisation cites at least four cases where the airport was used as a getaway route for CIA agents transporting Guantanamo detainees.

The study will be published later this morning, and also sites alleged breaches of international law by Irish authorities.

Executive Director of Amnesty Ireland Colm O’Gorman says the Government can no longer deny what’s happened at Shannon:
