Staff representatives from Element Six are meeting North West MEP Marian Harkin this morning about the axing of hundreds of jobs at the Shannon plant.
They will brief the MEP on the current situation at the industrial diamond manufacturer and the ongoing talks to improve the redundancy package being offered to workers.
On Friday the company agreed to reinstate 300 staff on a full time basis while the negotiations are ongoing.
370 workers are being made redundant with the closure of manufacturing and distribution by the end of the year.
