The hunt is continuing for an armed gang that tied up a Clare Couple and stole their car during a raid on an Arklow hotel.
The terrified guests and the night porter were locked in the fridge at the Arklow Bay Hotel for half an hour before they were able to free themselves and raise the alarm.
It happened in the early hours of yesterday monring.

The raiders were unable to break open the hotel safe because of a time lock and eventually fled with only a small amount of cash taken from the tills in the bar.
They made their getaway in a 2008 Clare-registered jeep owned by the couple.
