Free parking is being introduced in Ennis over the Christmas period.
The initiative, which has received unanimous support from the town's local representatives, will see people being able to park free of charge, from Thursday to Saturday, after 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
It gets underway on December 8th and runs until January 10th.
It's the first time the initiative is covering all three of the main shopping days, rather than one.
Meanwhile, details of pre-Christmas pedestrianisation in Ennis Town Centre have been confirmed.
O'Connell Street and O'Connell Square will close on Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th, and also on December 23rd and 24th.
The closures will be in effect from 12 noon until 6 o'clock each day
