The action has been taken by David Mongans, his wife Margaret Lisa Mongans and their children who say they're living in a caravan on the Kilrush Road in Ennis.

The Mongans told the court that their current living conditions are unsuitable, and that they have been homeless since previous accomodation at Knockanean was destroyed by fire last year.

According to multiple reports this morning, the family have been granted permission to bring forward their application, and the case will be back before the court in the New Year.
