Over 17,000 people are now employed by FDI companies in this region, a figure which increased by the addition of 1,500 new net jobs in the past 12 months.
The 10% growth rate is at least two points higher than all other regions, though the IDA has not revealed how many of the new jobs came here in Clare.
However, the group's MidWest Business & Relationship Manager Niall O'Callaghan insists there has been growth here, even if much of it is under the radar.
