A delegation from the Oireachtas is to raise the case of Irish man Ibrahim Halawa during a four day visit to Egypt.

The group, led by the Ceann Comhairle are also due to meet President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss bilateral cooperation on trade, transport and tourism along with highlighting the case of 21 year old Ibrahim who has been imprisoned since August 2013.
Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl, is aiming for better relations with Egypt.
