Mr. Trump addressed this controversy today, at his first press conference since winning the US presidential election last November.
He confirmed to reporters that the leaks published by media site, Buzzfeed may have come from intelligence agencies.
He also said he is very conscious about surveillance when he leaves the US for countries like Russia where privacy may be threatened:
