A fatal accident in Dublin last night, in which a man in his 60s was knocked down, brings to four the number of pedestrians killed in as many days. 

Barry Keating of Clare County Council says there's an increase in the numbers of people walking and cycling at this time of year and that everyone needs to be more conscious of road safety.
