Deputy Timmy Dooley's comments come in light of President Trump's controversial order restricting entry into the US by people from named majority-Muslim countries, which is being enforced at Shannon and Dublin airports.
The Taoiseach has ordered a full review of US Pre-clearance operations here and the issue is due to be discussed at today's cabinet meeting.
