Questions have been asked about scrapping pre-clearance at Shannon and Dublin in protest to the US President's migrant travel ban. 

There's been widespread debate over the future of pre-clearance at Shannon and Dublin airport, following the implementation of Donald Trump's immigration ban there.

The Taoiseach has ordered a full review, though the majority of local representatives and all cabinet members want the facility retained.

Paul Murphy of the AAA-People Before Profit Group disagrees, saying it should be scrapped.

Shannon Sinn Fein Councillor Mike McKee believes preclearance is important for the Airport, but feels it should go if international laws are being broken there.
