Staff at the transport firm have been told that unless they agree to cost cutting measures, management will try to legally enforce them.

A letter warning workers of the intended court action has angered trade unions.

They've announced an all-out strike to begin in around three weeks time.

But Bus Éireann spokeswoman Nicola Cooke says they're still open to negotiations.
