An Ennistymon farmer is celebrating after a one in a billion birth on his land
Four identical heifer calves have been born to a Hereford Cross cow on the land of Tom Clair.
After a similar birth in Norfolk in 2004, geneticists calculated the odds of such a birth as being over one billion to one.

Tom says he’s never heard of such a birth before, and the calves are now in good health.
