A man’s been arrested after another man died following an incident near Fermoy in County Cork last night.
It’s understood the man who died suffered serious head injuries after being attacked with a baseball bat in the car park of a filling station in the town at around 11 o’clock.
It’s thought he was pronounced dead at the scene, while another man was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.

The area has been sealed off pending the arrival of crime scene investigators.
