Paul Hannon To Be Laid To Rest Today

A Parteen man who lost his life in a road traffic collision in Dublin this week is being laid to rest today.
 
Paul Hannon was cycling when he collided with a car in the early hours of Friday morning.
 
Paul Hannon, who was aged in his 40s, lost his life after he was involved in a collision with a car while he was cycling at Patrick Street in Dublin 8 at around 12:45 on Friday morning.
 
The Parteen native had been living in Dublin for a number of years, and was working as a solicitor with the Central Bank.
 
He is the son of John and Florence, and is survived by nine brothers and sisters.
 
His funeral mass is taking place in St. Patrick’s Church, Parteen today at 2:00, and afterwards he will be laid to rest in Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick.
 
Meanwhile, both occupants of a car have died following a road traffic accident near Abbeyfeale in Co. Limerick on Friday evening. The car in which they were travelling collided with a truck.
The driver, was 19 year old Gary Kelly from Ivy Hill in Ennis, while the passenger was 18 years of age and understood to be from the Crusheen area.
