Gardaí will be out and about in Clare communities today as part of Operation Streetwise.
An Garda Siochana are hoping to educate people about personal safety, particularly when planning nights out and keeping safe from assault.
Leaflets will be handed out in shopping centres in both Shannon and Ennis, along with increased checkpoints across the county.
