The government is being urged increase investment in badly-needed infrastructure outside of Dublin.
The wants to see Ireland access EU funding, and money from the European Investment bank, to allow for increased spending in projects throughout the country.
They say this is badly needed to expand urban areas, including Ennis.

CIF Southern Regional Director Conor O’Connell says Ennis needs investment before the county town can grow further.
