University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country today.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that 36 people are awaiting admission to the Dooradoyle facility, with an even split between patients on trolleys and overflow areas of wards.
They’re among the 412 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
