A Clare jockey will be in action as the 2017 Aintree Grand National Festival gets underway today.
Tubber’s Derek O’Connor will be on board Balnaslow in the Foxhunters’s Chase at the Liverpool venue later this afternoon.
That one goes to post at 4.05pm with the first race on the card away at 1.45pm
