The Minister for Housing and Local Government Simon Coveney will be among those who are to address the Association of County Councillors who are holding their annual meeting in Ennis.
The Association of Local Government are meeting for a two-day event at Treacy’s West County Hotel.
Many of the discussions will focus on rural Ireland, and how it is faring in comparison with the rest of the country, while Minister Coveney will address the event’s closing dinner tomorrow night.
