Bowel Cancer Dangers Highlighted

An average of 73 people in Clare die every year from bowel cancer.

They’re among over 2,500 people nationally, who the Irish Cancer Society say are diagnoised with bowel cancer every year, with approximately 1,000 dying as a result of the disease.

The latest figures show that only 4 out of 10 availed of free screening for the cancer.
