Community groups in Clare are being given access to funding to improve the physical appearance of their localities.
Clare County Council has announced €160,000 in funding under the Public Area Enhancement Scheme for community and voluntary groups involved in the Tidy Towns competition
Last year, 38 seperate groups in Clare benefited from the fund, and those interested this year will have to submit applications before the 28th of this month.

The fund has been approved by local councillors and is being provided directly from the Council.
