A 1.6 million euro extension to an East Clare Nursing Home is being officially opened today.
The Brian Boru Unit at Raheen Community Nursing Home in Tuamgraney is being unveiled by Minister of State Helen McEntee, at a commemorative ceremony later this morning.
The first phase of the development is now complete, with the extension forming part of the overall plan to upgrade the existing inpatient ward accommodation to bring it in line with current HIQA standards.

It’s one of a series of announcements being made by Minister McEntee in Clare today, including the opening of a Day Centre at Cuan an Chláir.
