Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD has called on mobile phone operator Three to halt plans which will see them hike the cost of contracts.
The company has informed some customers of a five euro per month increase in their bills which is due to come into effect in a month’s time.
In a statement to Clare FM, Three has defended the move, insisting it is the first time that it has increased charges in a number of years, and say they come as a result of the increased cost of doing business.
