A new electric bus service could soon be launched on the Loop Head peninsula.
Loop Head Tourism is working closely with the Limerick Institute of Technology to develop a new hop-on, hop-off service around Loop Head, which has traditionally has been served by a limited public transport service.
The project, which is still in it’s infancy, would see an electric bus fueled by a local wind farm, stopping at various points across west Clare and connecting with the main bus service in Kilkee.
