Shannon Airport says it’s hopeful of further services with Lufthansa into the future.
The former German flag carrier is flying weekly Shannon-Frankfurt services this summer, making it one of four airlines to bring new services to Shannon in 2017.
It’s reported strong demand for seats on inbound flights in particular, but Shannon has been keen to stress the advantages of direct connectivity to one of Europe’s busiest hub airports.
