Sharp Fall In Region’s Hospital Overcrowding

There’s been a sharp fall in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital today.

The latest figures from the INMO show 23 people were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 19 of those in the emergency department.

It’s in stark contrast with yesterday’s figures when trolley numbers soared to fifty.
