Clancy Thrilled As Clare Reach Munster Minor Football Final

Clare will take on Kerry in the 2017 Munster Minor Football Final.

The Banner qualified for a first provincial decider in 23 years with an impressive 3-13 to 0-12 win over Limerick in their last four tie.

The result also sees Seamus Clancy’s side guaranteed a spot in the All Ireland Quarter Final against Leinster opposition.

The Corofin man says the prospect of a summer full of football means they have plenty to concentrate on.

Meanwhile one of Clare’s standout performers from last night’s win says their half time team talk was crucial to the victory.

Clare trailed by two points at the break, but would have the breeze at their back in the second half.

Cratloe’s Diarmuid Ryan says the players themselves took on the responsibility of ensuring the opportunity wouldn’t pass them by.
