Irish water is hoping to resolve all issues with the water supply in Clare by the end of next year.
There are currently five schemes in the county on the EPA’s watch list – collectively they serve a population of around 10,000.
The water supplies from Carron, Turlough and Kilkeedy will be deemed safe next month, while the water in Ennistymon and Corofin will be removed from the list by the end of 2018.
