A Shannon Councillor says there are “noxious smells” coming from public bathrooms in Áras an Contae.
Gerry Flynn raised the issue with his council colleagues, saying he received several complaints from members of the public.
Silt build-up in recent months has led to the public toilet system being flushed to tackle the issue.
