GLEN is to be wound down over the coming weeks following a external review.
The board of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network is arranging an orderly wind-up of its affairs, just a month after allegations of bullying and financial problems within the campaign group.
The campaign group was headed up by Kilrush man Brian Sheehan until he stood down as Executive Director last year – there’s no allegations of any wrongdoing against him.

Following a review, the organisation says it’s not possible to return to “full financial viability”
Jillian van Turnhout who carried out the review says the use of credit cards for personal purposes was extremely poor practice.
