It’s claimed there’s an air of confidence in Clare’s coastal areas ahead of the main portion of the summer season.
It comes as new live register figures show a drop in the unemployment indicator, especially in North Clare.
80 people left the dole queues there last month, bringing the numbers signing on to their lowest level in eight years.

There were also a reduction of 70 in the number of people signing on in West Clare, though local Independent Councillor Christy Curtin says there needs to be a focus on employment that is not totally dependent on tourism.
