UK Government Defends DUP Deal Amid Accusations Of Bias

The UK’s minister responsible for Northern Ireland has denied he will be a biased chairman of the latest talks to restore power-sharing.

Secretary of State James Brokenshire’s position has been questioned, now that the British government is relying on the DUP to keep it in power.

Sinn Féin says a new independent chair should be chosen instead, to lead the talks between the major Northern parties on the return of Stormont.
