Nurses say the new emergency department at at the region’s main hospital is the most overcrowded in the county once again today.
The latest figures from the INMO show 41 people were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 25 of those in the emergency department.
Galway University Hospital is also one of the busiest in the country, where 32 people are waiting to be admitted.
