People in Clare are being urged to keep the county’s beaches clean as visitor numbers soar this week.
The recent spell of hot weather has seen a surge in beach activity, as both locals and tourists flock to the coast, which traditionally leads to a major increase in the level of littering.
Overnight rain is due to die later with afternoon temperatures expected to rise to as high as 28 degrees.
