Dromoland Castle has been named as the best hotel for families in Europe.
The award has been bestowed on the five-star hotel by Family Vacation Critic, an online travel resource for families.
It vetted the site, and also collates reviews from guests who have stayed at the hotel.

Dromoland recently announced an extensive renovation program at the property, with spending set to hit 20 million euro.
