Asylum-Seeking Children Report Unease With Direct Provision

Asylum-seeking children say they’re unhappy with the time spent living in Direct Provision and some report feeling unsafe.

Researchers from University College Cork interviewed 110 children aged 8 to 18 about their experience.

They report incidents of racism, poor food and sub-standard accommodation.
