A woman in her 50s has been airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured in a road crash in West Clare.
Its understood a car and a cyclist collided on the main Kilrush to Kilkee road shortly before three o’clock.

Gardaí, units from Kilrush and Kilkee Fire Service and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
The cyclist has since been airlifted to University Hospital Limerick where her injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
The road was closed for a time but has since re-opened.
