Battle For Places In Cusack Cup Knockout Stages Set To Go To The Wire

The battle for a place in the knockout stages of the Cusack Cup will go right down to the final game.

It’s after Clondegad got the better of Doonbeg last night winning by 0-17 to 0-12.

It means if Miltown beat Lissycasey tomorrow evening, they will finish level on points at the top of the table with Kilmurry Ibrickane, with Doonbeg in third.

Should Lissycasey win, it will leave three teams level in second place with a playoff series to follow.

Cratloe have already conceded a walkover to Kilmurry Ibrickane, meaning the reigning champions are guaranteed a place in the next round.

In last nights other game, O’Curry’s beat an already relegated St Josephs by 1-7 to 1-6
