Fianna Fail’s calling for urgent action following shocking revelations about lapses in fire safety standards in primary schools.
Full fire inspections are to be carried out in 25 schools, after breaches were discovered in five newly built primary schools in Dublin, Wicklow and Mullingar.
The party’s Education Spokesperson Thomas Byrne says it’s time for proactive, forward thinking ‘before it’s too late.’
