Department of Education Inspectors have praised one of the county’s largest second-level schools.
931 students were attending the all-girls Coláiste Muire in Ennis when it was visited by Inspectors last December.
In their newly-published report, they outline the strong ethos in the school, how the commitment of staff is a cornerstone of its success, and how the quality of teaching is generally either good or very good.

A small number of recommendations have been made, including the extension of communication with students and parents in the areas of academic tracking and school self-evaluation.
