A low level yellow weather warning is in place for Clare this weekend.
Met Éireann says a vigorous Atlantic weather system combined with the tail end of Hurricane Ophelia will pass close to Ireland on Monday, and has the potential to have a high-impact on parts of the country.
There is a lot of uncertainty around the evolution and movement of this weather system during the coming four days, but storm-force winds, outbreaks of heavy rain, and high seas are likely.

The forecaster says it will issue further advisories and warnings over the coming days if it’s necessary.
