Clare could be in line to open the 2018 National Hurling and Football leagues with a double header in Cusack Park.
The provisional fixtures for next years campaign have been released with both county sides set to begin on Sunday January 28th with the hurlers hosting Tipperary while the footballers take on Cavan.
Clare will have two home games in the 2018 National Hurling League, hosting Tipperary and Cork while they will make the journey to Wexford to meet former boss Davy Fitzgerald along with trips to Kilkenny and Waterford.
The footballers will play four times in Cusack Park against Cavan, Tipperary Roscommon and Louth but face journeys to Meath, Down and Cork.
