Increased Incentives Needed To Stop Clare Rents And House Prices Spiralling Out Of Control

A leading Clare auctioneer insists that increased Government incentives are urgently needed to stop rent and house prices from spiralling out of control.

The latest Daft report shows the average rent in the county has risen by 11% in the past year to 727 euro, which is the highest of any county in Munster and is among the fastest-rising in the country.

While, a new report from the ESRI has predicted a 20% rise in house prices in the next two years.
