There’s been a 13% drop in the number of new car sales in Clare last month.
The latest figures fro the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show 2,728 new cars were registered in the county in November, down from over 3,100 in the same period last year.
The figure is above the national average but is roughly in line with market expectations.

The SIMI says despite the decline and expectations of a further drop in the new year, the industry has had a reasonable year so far, considering the predicted impact of Brexit on trade.
