It’s claimed dog owners in Ennis are crying out for a designated park to walk their pets in.
Ennis Councillor Johnny Flynn says a number of owners have raised the matter and are planning to bring a petition forward to urge the local authority to consider it.
His motion for a park with a puppy section, water taps and a wood-chipped play area has effectively been shot down by the council’s director of services, who says the resources are not in place.
