IBAL says a sculpture worth tens of thousands of euro being commissioned for Ennis will act as a reminder of the need to keep the town litter-free.
Ennis was yesterday named the cleanest town in Ireland at a ceremony in Dublin, after being deemed Cleaner than European Norms in the latest Irish Business Against Litter Survey.
To mark the achievement, IBAL is funding a sculpture to the value of 40,000 euro, with the site and details yet to be confirmed with the local authority.
